During T&D Energy 2025, the book was launched Energy in Transformation: Women's Contribution to the Energy Transition, a collective work written by 54 women working in various areas of the electrical sector. More than a collection of technical articles, the book proposes an integrated view of the sector, covering everything from generation, transmission and distribution to innovation, energy efficiency, free market and public policies. The publication reveals how the female presence is directly linked to the construction of a more just, sustainable and strategic energy transition.

Each chapter includes practical contributions and in-depth analyses on the challenges and advances on different fronts of the sector. From asset management to cybersecurity, from leadership in communication to the implementation of new technologies, the authors demonstrate how hybrid professional practice, diversity, and inclusion add real value to the transformations that are already under way in Brazil. Case studies, real experiences, and innovative visions make up a current and necessary overview of the country's energy future.
Energy in Transformation reinforces that the modernization of the sector involves much more than technical advances, it involves cultural change, the strengthening of intelligent networks and the valuation of human capital. By overturning stereotypes and broadening horizons, this work becomes essential reading for those who want to understand how women are shaping a more resilient, innovative and inclusive electricity sector.
